Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) Elements 1 & 2 (Analysis & Design)

This course is designed to provide the delegate with a high level of understanding of the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) coupled with a more detailed understanding of the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Course Design (CD) processes. The fundamental principles are established and then built upon using a combination of presentation techniques, informal delegate instructor interaction and formal scripted exercises.

The course begins by explaining the principles of the SAT and the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT). The subsequent modules address the concepts and phases of the TNA and Course Design Elements of the UK MoD’s DSAT in more detail, including exercises to reinforce the principles.
